3.14. Installing public DNS Cloudflare / Google

Attention!

If after installing public DNS there is an error accessing any sites, you should delete the settings of public DNS or configure DoH since the ISP may block port 53.

  1. Right-click on the " Start "And select" Network connections »:
  2. Click " Configuring adapter parameters »:
  3. Right click on the network adapter you are using and select " Properties »:
  4. In the list of components, select " IP version 4 (TCP / IPv4) " and press " Properties »:
  5. Set the radio button next to " Use the following addresses DNS-servers »And enter the IP addresses DNS-servers Cloudflare or Google (optional):
    • Cloudflare:
      • « Preferred DNS-server "- specify 1.1.1.1 .
      • « Alternative DNS-server "- specify 1.0.0.1 .
    • Google:
      • « Preferred DNS-server "- specify 8.8.8.8 .
      • « Alternative DNS-server "- specify 8.8.4.4 .
  6. Save your changes.
  1. Open the section " System settings » (« System Preferences »):
  2. Go to the section " Network » (« Network »):
  3. Select the internet connection you are using and click “ Additionally… » (« Advanced… »):
  4. Switch to the " DNS ", Using the button" + "Add to the list" DNS-servers » (« DNS Servers») Addresses DNS-servers Cloudflare or Google (your choice) and click " OK »:
    • Cloudflare:
      • IPv4:
        • 1.1.1.1
        • 1.0.0.1
      • IPv6:
        • 2606: 4700: 4700: : 1111
        • 2606: 4700: 4700: : 1001
    • Google:
      • IPv4:
        • 8.8.8.8
        • 8.8.4.4
      • IPv6:
        • 2001: 4860: 4860: : 8888
        • 2001: 4860: 4860: : 8844
  5. Click " Apply » (« Apply »):
