4.11. Reinstall OS on VPS

Attention!

When reinstalling the OS, all data on the server is deleted and the root user password is changed.

To reinstall the OS, do the following:

  1. Open the section "  VPS »:
  2. On the tab “ OS installation »Click« Automatic installation »:
  3. Select the required OS from the list (x86 versions are marked explicitly, all others are x64):
  4. Wait for the operation to complete. The installation process usually takes no more than 15 minutes.

After reinstalling on account mail an email will be sent with access data to the server.

 

Attention!

Only ISO images of free operating systems can be downloaded. Windows images will be locked.

To install the OS from your image, do the following:

  1. Open the section "  VPS »:
  2. On the tab “ OS installation »Click« Installation from image »:
  3. Provide a link to the desired image, click " Upload image "And wait for the download to complete:
  4. Press again " Installation from image ", Mount the downloaded image by pressing the green arrow button in the line with it and wait for the server to restart:
  5. Connect via VNC and install the OS from the mounted image.

To unmount a mounted image in the "  VPS "On the" OS installation »Click« Unmounting an image "And wait for the server to restart:
